The Science Behind HPDS

The HPDS model in NeuroDecode™ is informed by the psychological research of Dr. Kazimierz Dąbrowski, creator of the Theory of Positive Disintegration. His work is widely cited in modern psychology for describing high emotional, intellectual and imaginative intensities — now recognised as overexcitabilities.

Dąbrowski’s findings show that high-processing individuals are not disordered. Instead, they represent a distinct neurocognitive profile characterised by heightened sensitivity, rapid information processing and multi-layer emotional-logical integration. He also identified the role of autonomous self-direction (the “Third Factor”) as a key driver of development in these individuals.

NeuroDecode™ builds on this foundation through the concept of HPDS — Hyper-Processing Dopamine System. HPDS describes a higher-bandwidth, multi-layer cognitive architecture that performs optimally in coherent, low-noise environments and becomes overloaded in inconsistent or chaotic conditions.
